32-bit and 64-Bit Application Servers

CA Identity Manager r12.5 SP10 supports the following new application server versions:

To use the r12.5 SP10 version of the Identity Manager Server on these application servers, you install it on a new version of the application server. Then, you migrate data from the previous CA Identity Manager installation to the new installation. See the Upgrade Guide for full details on this migration.

CA Identity Manager r12.5 SP10 supports the following 32-bit applications servers for upgrades only:

If your current version of CA Identity Manager runs on one of these application servers, you can upgrade to r12.5 SP10 by running the installer. See the Upgrade Guide for full details on the upgrade.

Note: Although installation of the Identity Manager server on a certified 32-bit platform is supported, we strongly recommend installation on pure 64-bit platform. The rationale is for performance and operational reasons, but also for future upgrades. The next major release of CA Identity Manager, r12.6, will only support 64-bit platforms. A 64-bit configuration reduces the cost to upgrade to r12.6 when it is released.
