Installation Prerequisites

The Kerberos server (KDC) must be Sun's Kerberos V5 implementation, and installed on Solaris 10. You must install the following packages.

• SUNWkdcr (Kerberos V5 KDC - root)
• SUNWkdcu (Kerberos V5 Master KDC – user)
• SUNWkrbr (Kerberos version 5 support – Root)
• SUNWkrbu (Kerberos version 5 support – Usr)

The Java CS host must have the SUNWkdcu (Kerberos V5 Master KDC – user) packages installed, and you must configure them as a Kerberos client (that is, you must configure krb5.conf).
