Run the Agent Processes

To manage your HP NonStop SAFEGUARD endpoints, you must run the agent processes. Perform the following procedures to start the agent processes:

From the TACL prompt on your HP NonStop SAFEGUARD system

1. Log on as SUPER.SUPER.
2. Issue the following commands:

   instvol.CARELSCR.CONNECT
   

   • instvol

     The disk volume where the HP NonStop SAFEGUARD agent is installed.

     CASTART ALL
     

3. To stop the agent processes, type the following command:

   CASHUTDOWN ALL
