CA HTML Bookshelf

A bookshelf is an HTML help system that provides access to all deliverables in a product's documentation set, regardless of their deliverable format.

The bookshelf now provides both HTML and PDF deliverable formats. PDF provides a print-friendly option for customers who require printed documentation, while HTML provides robust online viewing and search capabilities. To access the PDF files, click Print on the bookshelf page.

To access the bookshelf

  1. Download the zip file containing all the files and the bookshelf to your hard drive.
  2. Use an archive program such as WinZip or StuffIt to extract the content of .zip formatted files.

These file types provide a quick and easy way to download all of the books in a documentation set and includes a search index that helps you locate information throughout the set. If you are unable to use the search capability after following this process, download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader for your operating system.

  3. Open the Bookshelf.hta file if you are using Internet Explorer. If you are using another browser, such as Firefox, open the Bookshelf.html file.
