Using the Eclipse UI Editor

You can use CA File Master Plus to view and edit VSAM data sets, sequential data sets, and partitioned data set members. In this scenario, a file refers to either type. You can use the CA File Master Plus Eclipse UI to manage data sets and PDS or PDSE members in an Eclipse environment. You can open data sets or records and then use the Eclipse UI editor to locate and manipulate the contents of that data set or member.

This document provides procedural information describing how to use the various functions available within the CA File Master Plus Eclipse UI editor.

Note: For more information about how to get started using the CA File Master Plus Eclipse UI, including how to install the product, set your preferences, and configure your views, see the document titled "Get Started with the CA File Master Plus Eclipse UI."
