Set up a Partnership with SiteMinder at the Relying Party

After configuring the Federation Manager policy at SiteMinder and the Connector-specific settings at Federation Manager, you can now create a partnership between an asserting party and the relying party where SiteMinder resides.

The configuration for this partnership would follow the standard configuration steps outlined in this guide. There are no unique configuration procedures; however, be aware of the following:

• If Federation Manager is deployed in standalone mode, the target resource is the resource that resides on the web server being protected by the SiteMinder Web Agent.
• If Federation Manager is deployed in proxy mode, the target resource is the URL for the Federation Manager server because Federation Manager proxies all requests back to SiteMinder
