UI Administrator Password Changes

For security reasons, you can change the password that gives the administrator access to the Federation Manager UI. Federation Manager allows only one administrator at a time to log in to the UI.

Two methods are available to change the administrator password:

• Modify the password from the Federation Manager UI.

  If you can access the Federation Manager UI, you can change the administrator password.

• Modify the password from a command line.

  If the administrator user account is locked or the administrator is not available, you can reset the password from the command line.
