Administrative Tasks for Federation Manager

As a Federation Manager administrator you are responsible for the oversight of the product's infrastructure, which includes the following tasks:

• Monitor server status
• Configure server settings
• Configure database connection parameters
• Test database connections
• Configure the SiteMinder Connector settings
• Change the administrator's password
• Enable SSL

Typically, you perform these tasks through the Federation Manager UI. Additionally, you can set server, database, and log administration settings using the command-line configuration tool.
