Deployment Modes and FIPS Settings

The first group of settings in the Deployment Settings dialog shows the status of the deployment mode and FIPS mode that you selected when installing and configuring Federation Manager. Additionally, you can set a prefix to protect HTTP headers in proxy mode.

You cannot modify the status settings in the Deployment Settings dialog. Change them using the following method:

• Edit the FIPS mode setting by re-running the Installation wizard and choosing a new setting.
• Edit the Deployment and Connector settings by re-running the Configuration wizard.

Important! Anytime you change the FIPS mode, restart Federation Manager.
