Assertions Being Resent in the Same IE Browser Session (84830, 87033)

Symptom:

When you select a link that initiates single sign-on twice in the same Internet Explorer browser session (before or after logout), the existing assertion is cached and retransmitted by the browser. This occurs when the link is selected twice in a very short period of time.

The following error is logged in the smps.log file when this problem happens:

Could not set Expiry Data for assertion to enforce single use assertion policy. Replay of assertion suspected.

Solution:

This is no longer an issue and an error is no longer displayed.
