How to Migrate a Failover Deployment

You can migrate an existing r12x failover deployment to an r12.1 SP3 failover deployment.

The following figure shows a clustered environment to support failover.

r12x Failover Migration

Migrating a failover deployment from r12x requires the following:

  1. Copying the r12x configuration to an r12.1 SP3 system.
  2. Updating the proxy server or load balancer to pass the appropriate URLs to the new r12.1 SP3 systems.
