Installation Hangs if Oracle 10g Is Installed on the Windows System (73806)

Symptom:

When installing Federation Manager on a Windows 2003 system with Oracle 10g installed, the Federation Manager installation hangs.

Solution:

To ensure the installation proceeds properly

  1. Open a command window and unset PERL5LIB by entering the following command:

    SET PERL5LIB=

  2. Install Federation Manager.

The installation should now work properly.
