LANG Variable set to UTF-8 Causes Database Import Failure on UNIX Platforms (129593)

Symptom:

On UNIX platforms, if the environment variable LANG is set to UTF-8, such as, LANG=en_US.UTF-8, Federation Manager fails to import objects into the SQL database during configuration. The failure results in an error message that states" Please check the XPSImport log for more details."

Solution:

Remove the UTF-8 value from the LANG environment variable.
