Open Suppression Wizard
To create a new suppression rule, or edit an existing one, open the suppression wizard.
To open the suppression wizard
- Click the Administration tab, and then click the Log Collection subtab.
The Log Collection folder list appears.
- Click the arrow beside the Event Refinement Library folder to expand it, and then select the Suppression and Summarization folder.
The Suppression and Summarization buttons appear in the details pane.
- Click New Suppression Rule:
The Suppression Wizard opens.
When using the wizard:
- Click Save to save the rule file without closing the wizard.
- Click Save and Close to save the rule file and close the wizard.
- Click Reset to restore the wizard display to the last-saved settings.
