Connecting to LDAP Servers over SSL

To establish an SSL connection to LDAP servers you must have the following certificates:

Certificate Authority Certificate: You can obtain this certificate from a Certificate Authority, for example Verisign or Thwate. This certificate indicates that certificates issued by this Certificate Authority are valid and can be trusted.
LDAP Server Certificate: You must obtain this certificate from a trusted Certificate Authority. This certificate contains information about the LDAP server and identifies the LDAP server with the client.

Note: CA EEM supports only .pem certificates for SSL connections.
