Federal Information Processing Standards 140-2

CA EEM Server and CA EEM SDK use Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 compliant cryptographic libraries. These libraries provide a FIPS-only mode of operation when a CA EEM environment only uses FIPS-compliant algorithms to encrypt sensitive data. A CA EEM Server and CA EEM SDK can operate in one of the following FIPS modes of operation:

• non-FIPS
• FIPS-only
