Before you install the CA Enterprise Log Manager agent on an HP-UX Itanium (HPUX-IA) system, verify that you do the following tasks:
Install the patches PHSS_41182 and PHSS_41184 on HPUX-IA 11.23, and PHSS_41185 on HPUX-IA 11.31. For more information about these patches, see www.hp.com.
Verify that the environment variable _M_SBA_OPTS is set to 65536:10:16 by executing the following command at the command prompt:
