Delete a Forwarding Rule

You can delete an unneeded forwarding rule.

To delete a forwarding rule

  1. Click the Administration tab, and then click the Log Collection subtab.

    The Log Collection folder list appears.

  2. Click the arrow next to the Event Refinement Library folder to expand it, and then select the Event Forwarding Rules folder.

    The event forwarding buttons appear in the details pane.

  3. Click the folder which contains the rule you want to delete.
  4. Select the rule you want to delete and click the Delete Forwarding Rule icon. The current version is selected by default. You can select an earlier version to delete from the Version pull-down list in the details pane.

    A confirmation dialog appears.

  5. Click Yes.

    The deleted rule is removed from the appropriate list.
