Updates for Component – <CompName> is applicable for versions higher than or equal to <CompVersionApplicableTo>. Current version of the component on the client is <CurrentVersion>. Hence this update is not applicable

Reason:

The available update for the component specified in the message can be applied only if the installed version is at least the CompVersionApplicableTo. However the installed component is a lower version than the version to which the update can be applied. Therefore, the update cannot be installed. For example, if the update is r3 that is applicable to r2, but the installed component is r1, the update cannot be installed.

Action:

Evaluate whether you want this update. If so, request the version specified as CompVersionApplicableTo. Apply this prerequisite version. For example if you have r1 and want r3 which can only be installed after r2, first download and install r2, then download and install r3. If you do not want r3, you can ignore it. If r4 does not have any dependency, you can install it directly.
