Symptom:
In an environment with multiple CA Enterprise Log Manager servers that use the same management server, an archive query typically returns results from the archive directories of all servers. However, if you set a custom application name when you install the management CA Enterprise Log Manager rather than accepting the default, CAELM, archive query does not work as expected. Rather, the archive query returns results for only the server on which the query is run. Results from additional servers are displayed as <host>User CERT-custom: Access is denied.
Solution:
Run the query on the archive catalog from each CA Enterprise Log Manager separately.
