Customize Keyed Values for Anonymous_Accounts and Guest_Accounts

You can use a predefined report and its associated queries to monitor system access by anonymous or guest account. Anonymous_Accounts has no predefined values. Guest_Accounts has Guest as a predefined value. You can use the default keyed lists only or you can supplement them with your own values.

To customize the list for guest accounts, you identify guest accounts in your environment and add those values to the key-value list for Guest_Accounts. To customize the list for anonymous accounts, you identify anonymous accounts in your environment and add those values to the key-value list for Anonymous_Accounts. The reports that use the values you supply and the predefined values include:

If you create a custom query that uses both of these keys, define the filter as follows:

To edit keyed values for Anonymous Accounts or Guest_Accounts

  1. Click the Administration tab and the Services subtab.
  2. Click Report Server.

    A list of keys to which you add user-defined values is displayed at the bottom of the main pane.

  3. Select the key, Guest_Accounts or Anonymous_Accounts.
  4. Take one or more of the following actions to update this list:
  5. If updating values for both keys, select the other key and update its values.
  6. Click Save.

    Reports using this keyed list that are generated by scheduled jobs begin reflecting data for the updated values.
