Agent Management Tasks
The Agent Explorer lets you view and manage the event collection agents in your environment. You can use the Agent Explorer interface to perform management tasks in the following areas:
- Agent configurationLets you rename agents, and configure the groups to which they belong, and their associated groups.
- Agent groupsLets you group agents, by geography, business importance, or event source type, for example. You can also assign grouped agents to different CA Enterprise Log Manager servers as needed.
- SubscriptionsLets you view and apply available updates to agents.
- Agent command and statusLets you view the current status of agents and stop and start them as needed.
