Automated Reporting with Email Attachment

• Problem:

  The senior staff auditor wants daily PCI reports available in his inbox each weekday in PDF format.

• Solution:

  The security analyst, assigned the Analyst role, configures CA Enterprise Log Manager to deliver all PCI reports to the senior staff auditor's inbox daily in PDF format.

Role-based Access to Generated Reports

• Problem:

  The senior staff auditor wants the external PCI auditors to be able to access to the PCI-related reports, but does not want them to be able to access any other report. Users who have the predefined Auditor role can access any generated report.

• Solution:

  The security analyst with an Administrator role configures CA Enterprise Log Manager to provide these individual external PCI auditors access to only previously-generated PCI reports.

Automated Report Retention Policies

• Problem:

  Daily reports that are older than 30 days are no longer needed and must be removed from the system.

• Solution:

  The security analyst, with an Administrator role, configures CA Enterprise Log Manager to automatically delete all daily reports that are older than 30 days.
