When you save a new model to the mart, you must locate the library in which you want to save the model, and then give the model a name. It is important to create a name for your model, which is used to identify the model.
Note: A model name must be less than 130 characters. Because the version name is derived from the model name (for example, <ModelName>:<version number> by <UserName> on <VersionCreateDate>), you should use model names considerably less than 130 characters in length to avoid problems with saving a model version.
To save a new model to the mart
The Save ERwin Model Manager Model As dialog opens.
The model is saved.
