Enter a Comment for a Table Override Trigger

You can use the Comment tab in the Table Trigger Editor to enter a comment for a table override trigger template.

To enter a comment for a trigger

  1. Right-click the table for which you want to enter trigger comments and click Trigger Properties.

    The Table Trigger Editor opens.

  2. Select the trigger in the Navigation Grid for which you want to enter trigger comments and click the Comment tab.

    Note: Click New New icon in property editors to create a new object on the toolbar to create a new trigger. Use the Enter filter text box to filter a very large list of triggers to quickly locate the one that you want.

  3. Enter or change a comment for the table override trigger template. If your target server supports comments, you can generate comments in the physical schema DDL script.
  4. Click Close.

    Comments are saved and the Table Trigger Editor closes.
