Specify Minimum or Maximum Values for a Validation Rule

When you add validation rules to enforce your organization's business rules, ensure that you have established acceptable values to store in a table, column, entity, or attribute.

To specify minimum or maximum values for a validation rule

1. Click Validation Rules on the Model menu.

   The Validation Rule Editor opens.

2. Click the General tab.
3. Specify the minimum value for the Min field and specify the maximum value for the Max field.
4. Click Close.

   The values are specified and the Validation Rule Editor closes.
