Each entity, table, and view on the diagram window is automatically sized to display all attributes or columns. For presentation purposes, you can manually resize entities, tables, and views. For example, you can increase the size of a table box to display multiple child tables that have an identifying relationship with a single parent table. In this example, when you increase the size of the parent table box, all the circles at the end of the relationship lines from the child tables appear on the left side of the parent entity box.
Note: When you resize an entity, table, or view, any text in an attribute or column that extends beyond the height and width you specify does not display in the box. You must resize the box or reset automatic sizing to display all attribute and column text.
