Administrator Server System Requirements

Verify that the machine where the software (the administrator's workstation or file server for administrative files) is installed meets the minimum requirements summarized below. The disk space required for the administrative files used to create and manage the database is separate from the disk space required to accommodate models on the server where the database is located. Greater CPU speed, and more RAM and disk space result in better performance.

Important! In addition to being licensed for the Workgroup Edition, the administrator's workstation must also contain the Initializer license in order to perform administrative tasks on the mart.

Note: While not recommended, the software can be installed on the same machine as the database server.

• Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent supported by the Host DBMS
• 2 GB disk space
• 2 GB RAM (more recommended for large models)
• DVD-readable device (only if installing from DVD media)
