Documentation Changes

Welcome to CA ERwin Data Modeler r8.1 (r8 Service Pack 1). The following documentation updates have been made since the last release (r8.0.01) of this documentation:

• Release Numbering Scheme in CA ERwin Data Modeler—Information was added to clarify how you can identify the release number of your CA ERwin Data Modeler installation.
• New Features and Enhancements—This chapter describes the new features, enhancements, and changes implemented for r8.1.
• Upgrading CA ERwin Data Modeler from r7.x to r8.1—Provides important upgrade information if you are upgrading a r7.x installation to r8.1.
• System Requirements—Minimum screen resolution support information was added.
• Documentation Formats and Deliverables—Updated to indicate that all documentation is provided only on the ERwin Bookshelf, and that the bookshelf is installed locally by default.
