License CA ERwin Data Modeler

After you have retrieved your machine's MAC address, contacted Licensing and received your license file, use the Licensing dialog to copy your license file to the correct location on your machine. If you need assistance with licensing, you can open an issue online at the CA ERwin Data Modeler support site. See Retrieve Your MAC Address to Obtain a CA ERwin Data Modeler License if you have not retrieved your MAC address to obtain a license file.

To license CA ERwin Data Modeler

1. Copy your license files locally on your machine, such as to your desktop.
2. Click Licensing on the Help menu.

   The Licensing dialog opens.

3. Click the Install License File button.

   The Open dialog opens.

4. Browse for and select the .lic file you copied in step 1 and click Open.

   A message dialog opens indicating that your license file was successfully moved to the application's data directory.

5. Click OK.
6. Click Close.
