The Report Template Builder includes a set of standard, preformatted data model report templates that you can use to report on the current data model. The following report templates appear in the Available Templates list in the Report Templates dialog:
Lists entities and their primary keys in the current model. The report layout is formatted to create a tabular report in HTML format. The title page is formatted to include the report name, model name, and current date.
Lists physical-only columns in the current model. The report layout is formatted to create a hierarchical report in HTML format. The title page is formatted to include the report name, model name, and current date.
Lists the tables and their owners in the current model. The report layout is formatted to create a tabular report in HTML format. The title page is formatted to include the report name, model name, and current date.

Creates a comma-delimited text file of attribute names in the current model. You can import this file into the Naming Standards Editor.

Creates a comma-delimited text file of domain names in the current model. You can import this file into the Naming Standards Editor.
Creates a comma-delimited text file of entity names in the current model. You can import this file into the Naming Standards Editor.

Additional preformatted data model reports include the Logical Model Validation report and the Physical Model Validation report. You can find these model validation reports in the Available Sections pane of the Report Template Builder dialog. Model validation reports allow you to check for inconsistencies or missing information in your database. This report can help you to identify problems in your model before you forward engineer a model to a database. For example, you can create a model validation report that lists logical model attributes that have matching names.
You can also find subject area reports in the Available Sections pane of the Report Template Builder dialog. Subject area reports allow you to report Logical Subject Areas/Entities, Physical Subject Area, Physical Subject Areas/Tables/Views, Logical Subject Areas, Logical Stored Displays, and Physical Stored Displays.
