Horizontal partitioning uses the hash of the RDN, so you cannot rename horizontally partitioned entries. You should delete the old entry and create a new one to force a recalculation of the hash.
Partitions cannot have subordinate DSAs, however, they can have subordinate entries.
In a horizontal partition, a multi-chained search gives a separate dxEntryCount for each DSA which returns a hit. To get a consolidated number, use the value in dxTotalEntryCount.
