How to Create a DSA Certificate
To create a certificate for a DSA, you need to provide the DSA name. The DSA must already exist.
Use this process to create a certificate for a DSA:
- Use a certificate authority that you trust to create a certificate and the associated key pair.
You can use the following tools:
- DXcertgen
- Certificate Authority software such as OpenSSL, which is available from the OpenSSL site.
- Check the created certificate to ensure that the DSA name in the subject field of the certificate matches the DSA name.
- Add the root certificate of the Certificate Authority that you used to create the DSA certificate to the end of the file trusted.pem.
