Install the Directory Management Package Using a Command

The dxwebsetup command lets you install the Directory Management package.

To install the Directory Management package using a command

  1. Log in as root.
  2. Insert the CA Directory installation CD (if required).
  3. Open a command prompt.
  4. Change to the following directory:
    CD-ROM/dxwebserver/install
    
  5. Run the dxwebsetup command, with the options described in dxwebsetup Command—Install the Directory Management Package.

Use the dxwebsetup command to install the Directory Management components, as follows:

./dxwebsetup.sh [-r source-directory] [-dxuser username] [-silent]
-r source-directory

Run dxwebsetup from a location other than the current directory.

-dxuser username

Allows a username other than the default, which is dsa.

-silent

Installs the web components silently (no prompts are given to the user).
