Install CA DLP CMS on Node 1
Use a command line transform to install the virtual CMS on node 1.
To install CA DLP CMS on node 1
- Run the server.msi installation from the command line with the V-CMS machine name as parameter.
Example:
msiexec /I <DISTRIBUTION_MEDIA>\server.msi WGNINTERNALMACHINENAME=V-CMS
The InstallShield Wizard opens.
- Accept the default options until the Change Current Data Folder screen displays.
- Select an appropriate location such as ‘E:\DLP_DATA’ on the shared disk for the data location and click OK
The Database Identification screen displays.
- If using Microsoft SQL Server, change the database name from the default suggestion WGN_MACHINE1 to WGN_V-CMS, and finish the wizard.
The database is specified.
- Continue with the installation wizard, accepting the defaults until the installation is complete
- Verify that a confirmation message similar to the following appears in the activity log:
Machine name is: v-CMS. (OS Name=MACHINE1, Physical Node Name=MACHINE1, Override Name=V-CMS
The CA DLP CMS is installed on node 1.
To install iConsole Standard Searches and Reports
- Run setup.exe from the distribution media.
Accept the license agreement and continue to the Advanced Install Options screen.
- Select iConsole Standard Searches and Reports and click Install.
- Accept all defaults and finish the wizard.
The iConsole Standard Searches and Reports components are installed.
