Supported Databases

The following table describes CA DLP database support:

Database engines

The supported databases are:

Oracle 10g (10.2.0.4), 11g (11.1.0.7), 11g Release 2, or later

Oracle 10g users may see improved search and report performance by applying Oracle fix 5765456:7.

Microsoft SQL Server 2005

We recommend SQL Server 2005 SP2.

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition

Not recommended for CMSs.

Microsoft SQL Server 2008

Note: SQL Server is supported on Windows servers only.

Hardware

CA DLP servers need sufficient memory and processing power to run your chosen database application. See your database documentation for details.

Windows servers

On all Windows CMSs and gateways, you also need Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.6 or higher.
