The following instructions apply to CA DLP Network upgrades from both r12.0 and r12.5.
To upgrade CA DLP Network to 12.5 Update A
To upgrade from r12.0 or r12.5, you must install the software package for CA DLP Network r12.5 Update A. See the earlier sections for details. This automatically upgrades the existing CA DLP Network package.
When the upgrade is complete, any existing CA DLP Network policy and configuration settings are retained. Specifically, policy and configuration files in version r2.0 and r2.5 are supported in version r2.5 Update A.
Note: CA DLP Network r12.5 Update A includes support for SSL decoding. A new network filter action, decrypt, is available in r12.5 Update A to support the new SSL decoding functionality.
