Tracking ID 588-07: When an iConsole Search is Canceled, the Underlying Database Query Continues

(Applies only to CMSs using a Windows-hosted Oracle database) When a user cancels an iConsole search, the associated database query continues to run until completion. Note that from the user's viewpoint, the search was successfully canceled and no results are displayed. However, there is a possibility that for very large searches database performance may be affected until the query completes. This issue is a feature of the DataDirect JDBC driver used by the CMS.
