Upgrading iConsole Machines

When upgrading your iConsole machines, we recommend that you upgrade your CMS first. Then upgrade your iConsole application server followed by your iConsole front-end Web servers.

By default, this installs all the standard searches, upgrading any existing versions, plus upgraded versions of any existing reports.

If you then want to install any of the new standard reports introduced in r12.5, you must rerun setup.exe when the upgrade is complete.

To install new standard reports

  1. When the upgrade is complete, run setup.exe again on the CMS, your iConsole application server, and each iConsole front‑end Web server.
  2. In the Custom Setup screen of the installation wizard, choose the reports you want to install.

    In each case, be sure to install the same combination of searches and reports.
