Be aware of the following issues:

CMS requirements for r12.5 iConsole

We have successfully tested an r12.5 iConsole with a version 12.0 CMS. An r12.5 iConsole may work with older CMSs, but these combinations have not been tested.

However, in all cases and regardless of the CMS version, you must install the r12.5 standard searches on your CMS.

iConsole searches and reports

After upgrading your CMS, you will be unable to run searches or reports in the iConsole until it too is upgraded.

iConsole policies

After upgrading your CMS, you will be unable to edit policies in the iConsole until it too is upgraded.

iConsole servers must be same version

You must upgrade your iConsole front-end Web servers and application servers together. We recommend that you upgrade your application server first, followed immediately by your front-end Web servers.
