These triggers can control attempts to print files or copy files to a removable devices such as USB drives. They can also control files entering or leaving the corporate network. The available actions are:
A copy of the file or document is captured and stored on the CMS. No other action is taken.
Displays a warning dialog. The user copying the file can choose one of the following:
CA DLP prompts the user for a password, and uses this password to encrypt the file on the removable device.
The file is copied onto the removable device unencrypted.
The file is not copied.
Displays a warning dialog, as above. But this time, the user can either encrypt their file or they can cancel the copy operation. They cannot copy an unencrypted file.
Displays the Warning dialog. You can specify customized warning messages for each policy. The warning dialog lets the user choose whether to continue or not.
Note: Warnings are not supported for files detected by CA DLP Network.
Displays the Blocking dialog. You can use the dialog's notification message to explain to the user why this action was taken.
Note: The Blocking dialog is not shown for files detected by CA DLP Network. For these files; the user may simply see a timeout.
