CA DLP provides support for two machines to communicate via a secure private tunnel. The tunnel is designed to provide confidentiality, message integrity and endpoint authentication between any two machines in your CA DLP installation. For example, the tunnel can connect a CMS with a remote gateway.
To enable communication via tunnel, CA DLP provides two scripts to generate authentication certificates for the routing gateway and its parent server: MakeMachineCertificateStore.cmd and MakeRootCertificateStore.cmd. Find these in the \Support\SPT subfolder of your CA DLP distribution image.
For installation instructions, see the Deployment Guide; search the index for 'secure private tunnel'.
