Prevent Product Starting Automatically after Installation: DisableAutostart.vbs

By default, CA DLP starts automatically immediately after installation on servers and client machines. But for command line, Group Policy or SMS installations, you can use a transform to prevent this.

Run the DisableAutostart.vbs script to create the DisableAutostart.mst transform. The script prompts you to specify whether the transform is for a server or client machine. Then copy the transform into the folder containing your administrative installation source image.

You can then reference the transform as an option for Msiexec.exe, as part of the program for an SMS distribution package, or as a modification to a Group Policy installation package.
