Integration with Policy Engines

There are two registry values to enable integration with policy engines and smart tags:

ApplyPolicy

This registry value defaults to Yes to optimize policy engine integration.

Important! If you do not link the Universal Adapter to a policy engine (via a hub), then you must configure this registry value to No. If you do not, the Universal Adapter will fail to process emails in the absence of a policy engine to connect to.

OutputSmartTags

This registry value is included in each output location and defaults to No. You do not need to modify this setting after upgrading.
