Run a Scan Job from the Administration Console

When you create a scanning job using the FSA Job Definition wizard in the Administration console, you must define a job schedule. When defining the schedule, you must choose the Run As user; see step 3 in Schedule a scanning job). When the job runs, whether as a scheduled job or when you manually start it in the Administration console, it does so as the Run As user.

Scanning jobs are listed in the right-hand pane of the FSA screen in the Administration console. You can either:

• Either run a job immediately. Right-click the job you want and choose Run Job Now.
• Or schedule a scanning job to run at regular intervals. If you want to reschedule a job, right-click the job and choose Schedule.
