When deploying CA DLP to client machines via Group Policy, you use a Windows Installer transform file (.mst) to specify the name or IP address of the CMS or gateway that the client must connect to.
A Visual Basic Script is provided to create this transform. The script is called CreateParentNameTransform.vbs. To run this script, copy it to the same folder as the Client.msi file you are deploying. Then run it from Windows Explorer (you must have write access to the folder).
This script creates a transform that sets the name of the parent server. When you run the script, it prompts you for the name of the parent server and creates a transform called SetParentName.mst. You must specify this transform when you modify the GPO installation package.
