Example Policy

You might want to set up the NBA to analyze all outbound traffic to prevent IP loss.

To implement this policy, you need a combination of filters:

1. Focus on TCP data and exempt data sent using UDP.
2. Analyze Webmails but ignore outbound SMTP emails (because your organization has already deployed CA DLP agents to control e‑mails sent through your Exchange servers).
3. Block all file uploads or posts to newsgroups except those uploaded from specific authorized machines.
