You configure purges by editing the machine policy. You can configure purges to run immediately after the data has been replicated, or you can schedule purges to run at regular intervals.
Other policy settings provide further control over purge operations. For example, you can choose to suspend the CA DLP infrastructure during purge operations or you can specify a purging timeout. Full details about the relevant policy settings and instructions for setting up database purging are provided in the Administration Console online help; search the index for ‘purging events’.
