During event import operations, import failure, error messages, and important system messages are logged in the CA DLP Event Import log. Find this logfile in CA's \data\log subfolder of the Windows All Users profile. Log file names take the format: evtimport_<date>.log, where <date> is the date and time when the log file was created.
The Engine.LogLevel parameter determines how much detail is logged.
