For CMSs upgraded from 5.0, the old Fallback User setting gets renamed but retains its old value. That is, the renamed External Sender setting still specifies the same user account as before the upgrade.

Default Policy for Files

This setting was new in version 6.0. It determines which user policy is applied to captured, scanned or imported files if no other means are available to determine the policy participant.

For CMSs upgraded from version 5.0, you must either create this user account or edit the Default Policy for Files setting to specify an existing user account.Whichever user account you use, you must configure the Data In Motion or Data At Rest triggers as necessary.
